    Turku Music Festival is the oldest continuously operating music festival in Finland. The festival was founded in 1960 by the Musical Society in Turku. The city festival offers audiences' the best orchestral concerts, which is annually visited by both top international and Finnish artists.

The annual festival takes place on the grounds of Grafenegg Castle and it is famous for its beautiful sce nic views. The SPO’s debut concert was a great success in 2011 in wh ich the orchestra was re-invited to perform in 2014.
