 Total Duration around 110 mins

“In this realm, time becomes space” From C.S. Lewis to Terry Gilliam, Wagner’s Parsifal has been an inspiration to the very greatest creative artists. But if you don’t have the time (or inclination) for five hours of German opera, Markus Stenz conducts a suite from Parsifal - weaving all the visionary beauty of Wagner’s final masterpiece into one sumptuous orchestral tapestry, crowned with the superb voice of Korea’s internationally-renowned bass-baritone Samuel Youn. Then, with two explosive chords, Beethoven blows classical music wide open. In Vienna in 1805 no-one had ever heard anything quite like Beethoven’s Eroica symphony, and this epic musical dram, composed in an age of war and revolution, can still leave audiences shaken and stirred.
