1st Violin
Wayne Lin 웨인 린
(Associate Concertmaster)Chinese-American violinist, Wayne Lin, currently the Associate Concertmaster of the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, has received international recognition for his performances as a soloist, and as a chamber and orchestral musician.
Prior to his arrival in Seoul in 2008, he served as Concertmaster of the New Haven Symphony and was also a member of the internationally renowned ensemble, the Sejong Soloists, with whom he recorded chamber works of the Iranian-American composer, Behzad Ranjbaran, for Naxos.
Mr. Lin has also performed chamber music with groups such as the Sebastian Chamber Players and the Metropolis Ensemble in New York, as well as at festivals throughout the world, such as the Aspen Music festival(USA), Semana Musical Llao Llao(Argentina), and Great Mountain Music Festival(S. Korea).
After receiving his Bachelor’s degree from the Juilliard School, as a student of Glenn Dicterow, he went on to complete his Master's degree and Artist Diploma at the Yale School of Music, under the tutelage of Peter Oundjian.
Other teachers and mentors include, Fiorella Sommer-Link, Frank Almond, Peter Salaff, Michael Gilbert, Ani Kavafian, and Soovin Kim, as well as members of the Tokyo, Vermeer, Brentano, Cleveland, Juilliard, and Guarneri String Quartets.
Mr. Lin plays on a 1779 J.B. Guadagnini violin.
首席---林逸文先生简介
美籍华裔林逸文先生是一位在独奏，室内乐和交响乐三个领域均已奠立了国际声誉的小提琴家，林先生曾与威斯康辛州的米尔瓦基交响乐团，格林贝交响乐团，福克斯谷交响乐团，波萳的苏德卡交响乐团及 捷克的马亭陆交响乐团合作独奏, 2006年他担任第一小提琴手随摩林四人乐团在南美州阿根亭的首都（Bueno Aires）等三大 城市演奏. 他曾担任美国康州纽赫文交响乐团2007-2008 音乐季的首席及美国世宗室内乐团第二小提琴首席。在求学期间，他曾担任纽约朱丽叶音乐学院乐团首席，坦格伍（Tanglewood）音乐营乐团首席，及耶鲁大学乐团首席。热爱室内乐的他也曾参加陶斯（Taos)，克纳舍（Kneisel ），坦格伍（Tanglewood），及西部音乐学院 (Music Academy of the West) 室内乐的演出。
他在纽约爱乐团首席格能帝克特鲁（Glenn Dicterow）先生的指导下獲得纽约朱丽叶音乐学院學士學位，隨后在現任加拿大多倫多愛樂團指揮及音樂總監怶特溫金 (Peter Oundjian)先生之指導下獲得耶魯大學音樂學院的碩士學位以及藝術家的證書。林逸文先生演奏的是1799年的瓜第尼尼（J. B. Guadanini）小提琴。 他于2008年在美國接受韓國首爾愛樂團邀請擔任副首席（Associate Concertmaster) 至今。 目前他也執教于韓國國立藝術大學， 講授室內樂及交響樂。
