The Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra(SPO) aims to give the best quality music to the citizens of Seoul and beyond.

Public Concert(Classical music reaching out to citizens’ everyday lives)
The Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra holds public concerts in diverse venues, always trying to get closer to the public. From public concerts held in Seoul's public auditoriums, cultural facilities for marginalized groups, to museums and art galleries, concerts such as the 'Riverside Concert', 'Park Concert', 'National Liberation Day Concert', cater to audiences, offering opportunities for citizens to enjoy classical music up close in their daily lives. These range from intimate to large-scale performances, will provide families with occasions to delight in together.
- Riverside Concert

- Riverside Concert is a large-scale performance held at an outdoor stage along the Han River where families, from children to adults, can all enjoy together. Through a diverse range of stages, encompassing classical music to popular music, it will provide citizens a great moment of healing among their busy daily lives.
- National Liberation Day Concert

- The SPO has been joining to celebrate Korea’s National Liberation Day held on August 15th. On this special summer night, audiences are entertained by the beautiful melody of music played by the whole orchestra and world-famous artists.
- Park Concert

- During the cool autumn season, we perform a large-scale concert outdoor, such as the park. Music pieces will feature classical masterpieces that appeal to all generations, with world-renowned conductors.
- Special Concert

- We offer a special concert conducted by the SPO’s new music director, collaborating with the socially weak such as people with disabilities, which will bring a special sense of inspiration to the citizens.
- Outreach Concert-Orchestra

- The SPO is expanding opportunities for citizens to enjoy cultural arts by offering free concerts throughout Seoul, in collaboration with famous conductors. Our efforts aim to make classical music easily accessible to citizens nearby, without visiting professional concert venues.
- Outreach Chamber Concert

- Outreach chamber concerts will be held in various locations across all 25 districts within Seoul, including welfare centers, hospitals, and schools. Through music, we aim to convey warmth and accompany cultural welfare activities.
- Neighborhood Concert

- The SPO holds free indoor chamber concerts targeting all kinds of citizens such as underprivileged groups, individuals with disabilities, the elderly, and children, who may face difficulties in accessing performance venues.
- Museum Concert

- The SPO members will present high-quality chamber music in Seoul’s major museums and art galleries’ open spaces. Concerts encountered in unexpected venues will offer citizens a special moment of relaxation and joy.
- Rush Hour Concert

- Rush hour concert targets the general public and office workers to experience lectures by humanities experts and performances by members of the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra at distinctive locations within Seoul. This combination provides a chance for a relaxed leisure and cultural experience among busy daily routines.
- Miracle Seoul

- The SPO members will showcase the beauty of Seoul by performing at landmarks and historic sites. Particularly, the Christmas concert regarding carol pieces beside the dazzling Christmas decorations have become a special year-end event for citizens.
TOUR
Through international and national tours we serve as ambassadors for Seoul as a city of arts and culture. And by performing in different concert halls and sharing the experience of travel, the orchestra spreads harmony and develops as an ensemble.
