Our guest pianist Boris Giltburg is no exception, and today he’ll be sharing his matchless artistry with some of the SPO’s own finest players as they celebrate a great musical friendship. Brahms’s passionate Piano Quartet borrows fire from the gypsy violinists of Eastern Europe, while Dvořák’s Piano Quintet is as generous, as ebullient and as charismatic as the man himself.
