Sunyoung Seo
SopranoKorean soprano Sunyoung Seo won the first prize of
International Tchaikovsky Competition in 2011. Seo performed role of Rusalka in
Dvořák’s Rusalka at Stadtcasino Basel with deep immersion and sincerity
inside, was highly acclaimed. Her performance and roles include Desemona in
Verdi Otello, Cio-Cio-san in Puccini Madama and Aida in Verdi Aida.
Sunyoung Seo recently became a professor at the Korea
National University of Arts.
