• No restrictions due to educational background, gender, or region.
• Must abide by the ‘Retirement Age Regulation’ of the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra (SPO), candidate who is under 60 years old.

※Note: Recruitment timetable could be adjusted according to the circumstances, and due to the result of the recruitment process, one reserve candidate per position may be selected (valid for 1 year)

• Expected Appointment Date: January 1, 2026
• Probation Period: After the 1-year probation period from the effective date is completed, the successful candidate’s full-time contract will be determined based on the probation period evaluation results.
  ※Note: Though, based on the result of probation period evaluation, the probation period could be extended within 1 year.

• For the 2nd Round audition, applicants must bring their own piano accompanist.

5. Blind Recruiting & Other Information

• The SPO adheres strictly to blind recruitment practices.
• The schedule above may be adjusted due to internal situations. If changes occur, the adjustment will be posted on the SPO website. Applicants who have already submitted their applications will be notified by email.
• Application forms must be submitted in Korean, with the exception that foreign applicants are able to submit in English.
• Salaries are based on the SPO’s internal regulations.
• If no suitable candidates are found, the SPO reserves the right not to make an appointment for the position.
• The completion and accuracy of all submitted application materials are the sole responsibility of the applicant. Any negative effects from applicants not having submitted all the necessary materials, or their materials not being accurate, will not be the responsibility of the SPO.
• All notices will be sent via email, so please make sure to submit a valid e-mail address that is checked regularly.
• Due to the surge of submissions on the day of the application deadline, submitting the application in advance is highly recommended.
